Our current project is to build a roof over the United Evangelical Church. The congregation currently meets in the basement and installing a roof on the main floor will allow for growth of the church, freeing the basement to make a school. It will also be a signal for the entire neighbourhood that a slum can be transformed. The roof will have a steel structure, in accordance with engineering plans that have already been established, and will be made by a Haitian company. The cost of the project is $25,000. We intend to collect this amount in the coming months.
